Stanley Wolak and his brother Tom of Michigan, started using the Growers Program in the spring of 2002.
They raise 450 to 470 acres of vegetables consisting mainly of sweet corn, green beans and cabbage plus a variety of hard squashes, summer squashes, broccoli, cauliflower, pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant and melons.
Stanley has found using Growers Mineral Solutions "easier to work with.
That's a plus right there. There's no maintenance on the tanks, and I don't have to buy an expensive gravity wagon, or a box truck to haul fertilizer in. Anytime you make things easier, still have it work and the results are good, that's definitely a plus. Efficiency. Sometimes things are easy, but you don't get good results, but I think this fertilizer is a good thing."

disease pressure we would normally have, even in this wet year. We see much more tolerance to stress.
